MOVE OUT IS DECEMBER 14, 2024
 
Housing Agreements for Residents not returning for spring semester end on December 14, 2024. Residents must make arrangements to complete an in-person checkout of their housing assignment and return their room key by this date.
IN-PERSON CHECKOUT
 
Residents departing campus must complete an in-person checkout with a Residential Life staff member. Checkout times will be available between December 6th and December 14. Times will vary. Residents will need to schedule a checkout time as we are not able to accommodate walk-in appointments. 
 
At the checkout time, a Residential Life Staff member will arrive at your space. Residents are expected to be ready at their checkout time! Checkouts take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete. Residents who are not ready for checkout at their scheduled time may receive a $100.00 improper checkout fee. 
 
Residents will need to turn in their key and depart their space once the checkout is complete. Any key not returned at the time of checkout will result in a rekey fee of $40.00.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CHECKOUT 
 
Ensure all personal items are out of the space and nothing is left behind. see section below if you need to store items. 
Check drawers, closets, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, etc. 
All personal garbage and recycling must be brought to the dumpster. 
All surfaces and drawers are wiped down. 
Vacuum/Mop/Sweep the space you occupied
Discuss with roommates how damages should be divided.
