John McCutcheon with the CSB/SJU Orchestra and Chamber Choir

A master instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, storyteller, activist and author, John McCutcheon (SJU ‘74) is folk music’s renaissance man. With 36 recorded albums, John has earned six Grammy nominations for his eclectic catalog of American folk music. For this special performance, he’ll be collaborating with the CSB/SJU Orchestra and Chamber Choir for a show that blends generations and genres with a locally beloved artist. McCutcheon masters the art of a simple song told with literary craft, charming wit, and pure heart.
