Kristin Colberg Named to Vatican Commission

Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary congratulates faculty member, Kristin Colberg, on her recent appointment to the theological commission charged with assisting the leaders of the Synod of Bishops' general secretariat. Kristin was one four theologians named from the United States and Canada to serve on this Vatican commission. Our Dean of Students, Fr. Dale Launderville, OSB adds, "We are very proud of Dr. Kristin Colberg for her appointment to this important theological commission assisting the Synod  of Bishops. She is highly regarded for her expertise in the areas of ecclesiology and ecumenism. Her work advances the mission and vision of the School of Theology and Seminary in significant ways." In addition to teaching at Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary, Kristin also teaches undergraduate theology at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, where she was honored as a Teacher of Distinction, offering the University Convocation in 2017.
