Biography

Alex serves the School of Theology and Seminary as director of admission. He graduated from the SOT/Sem with a Master of Theological Studies in the spring of 2019. He lives in Saint Joseph, MN with his wife, Maria, and his son.

What is special about the SOT/Sem?

The SOT/Sem is a unique place where all God’s people are called to train in service to the Church and world. Being in a classroom with monks, sisters, seminarians, priests, deacons, diaconal candidates, and lay ecclesial ministers from different parts of the world and in different phases in life adds an indescribable energy and source of wisdom to every conversation.

Favorite Spot on Campus?

I proposed to my wife by a bench on the shore of Lake Sagatagan. Lake Sagatagan was also the first lake I ever walked on – a surreal and somewhat terrifying experience for a MN transplant like me. Sagatagan remains a very special place for me!
