Seton Apartments

Designed as earth-sheltered apartments by Hammel, Green & Abrahamson, the Elizabeth Ann Seton Apartments were constructed in Flynntown in 1981.  There are five structures in all, each containing four 4-person apartments.  Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the lower level, with kitchen, dining, and living rooms on the upper level.  The buildings face south to take advantage of solar heat.  As a result, the living and dining area have a wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor view toward Stumpf Lake.

Elizabeth Ann Seton was the first American to be promoted to sainthood.
