Maple Syrup Festival
Saturday, April 6, 2024 | 1-4 p.m.
Sap collecting, syrup cooking, demonstrations, and hot maple syrup sundaes await the whole family!
Before You Come
- The festival is ENTIRELY OUTDOORS – rain, snow, or shine. Please dress for the weather.
- It is usually extremely muddy, snowy, and occasionally icy out at the sugar shack. We HIGHLY recommend wearing boots or shoes that can get dirty.
- Please LEAVE DOGS AND PETS AT HOME. While we love them too, they are not allowed in the Abbey Arboretum.
Registration
Walk-ins welcome: CASH/CHECK preferred
- Outdoor U Members: $5-Adults; FREE-ages 17 & under
- Nonmembers: $10-Adults; $5-ages 4-17; FREE-ages 3 & under
- CSB+SJU Students: FREE thanks to support from CSB and SJU Senates
- Monastery Members: FREE
Parking
- Driving directions to Saint John’s University.
- Follow the signs on campus directing you to Science Lot #1 (lot P5 on the campus map).
- Check-in or register at the tent and wait for the shuttle to take you to the festival grounds.
