Don’t worry! The Peer Resource Program will provide the canoeing and outdoor equipment and the trained leaders to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Early in the summer we will send you a list of personal equipment that you will need to provide for the trip.

Who does Collegebound trips?

Each Collegebound trip will involve seven to nine incoming CSB/SJU students and student leaders from a variety of backgrounds. The trip leaders are experienced members of the CSB/SJU Peer Resource Program and have been specially trained in outdoor leadership and group communication.

Collegebound trips have been offered at CSB and SJU since 1987 and have served hundreds of students from many diverse backgrounds. We hope you can join us!

Collegebound does not end after the trip:

Your group experience doesn’t end with the trip. After school starts your leaders will get you together at least twice during the first semester. These meetings are designed to make sure you are feeling good about your transition to CSB and SJU, and are in contact with the people who can best support your academic efforts. Meetings will focus on the highs and lows of this major life transition, what is going well, and what is not – both academically and socially.
