Kathryn Sikkink to present lecture on ‘Latin America and the Justice Cascade’

Kathryn Sikkink, Regents Professor and McKnight Presidential Chair in Political Science at the University of Minnesota, will present a lecture titled "Latin America and the Justice Cascade" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Quad 264, Saint John's University.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Latino and Latin American Studies program at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.

Sikkink is a world-renowned scholar of comparative politics and international relations whose work has deeply influenced the study, teaching and understanding of global politics and international relations. She has been a Fulbright Scholar and a Guggenheim Fellow. She is a fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Association for Arts and Sciences.

The mission of the Latino/Latin American Studies program at CSB and SJU is to promote greater awareness and understanding of Latino and Latin American history and culture among the CSB, SJU and local communities.
