The College of Saint Benedict dance team had a successful trip to nationals this past weekend, finishing seventh in both the pom and jazz competitions at the Universal Dance Association’s College National Championship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
The team competed in the semifinals in each division Saturday (Jan. 14), then advanced to the finals Sunday (Jan. 15).
Their performance was part of a strong showing for Minnesota schools. Minnesota-Duluth finished first in the jazz division while Minnesota State-Mankato took home the title in the pom division.
