The College of Saint Benedict ultimate Frisbee club team is probably sick of hearing the term, "one-goal decision."

CSB finished tied for 13th in the USA Ultimate Division III women's national tournament May 16-17 in Rockford, Ilinois. Three-goal decisions - all losses - hurt CSB in the tournament.

CSB finished 1-2 in tournament pool play, beating Georgia College 13-9 but falling to Pudget Sound (15-14) and Valparaiso (13-12). St. Olaf defeated CSB 13-6 in the championship bracket pre-quarterfinals, dropping CSB into the consolation round. CSB then lost to Lehigh 10-9 before beating Luther College 10-6 to finish the season with a 15-10 overall record.

CSB tied for ninth in the 2014 national tournament.

The CSB ultimate Frisbee team was one of four club teams from CSB and Saint John's University to qualify for their respective national tournaments this spring.

Earlier, the SJU rugby team placed third at its national tournament April 26, the CSB lacrosse team finished ninth at its national tournament May 9 and the SJU lacrosse team lost in the quarterfinals of its national tournament May 12.

Here's a brief look at each team and tournament:

SJU lacrosse

The Saint John's lacrosse team had its season end in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II  national tournament May 12 at the University of California-Irvine.

The No. 8-seeded Johnnies lost to the tournament's top seed, Concordia College of Irvine, 14-12. The Eagles outscored the Johnnies 5-3 in the fourth quarter to break a 9-9 tie, outshooting SJU 16-4 in the quarter.

Senior midfielder Owen Barkley scored four goals and added an assist for the Johnnies. Sophomore Brooks Armitage had two goals and an assist, and junior Jacob Harmon scored two goals.

Saint John's, which has qualified for the last 11 national tournaments in a row, finished the season 10-7 overall.

CSB lacrosse

The CSB lacrosse team finished ninth at the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II National Tournament May 9 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

CSB dropped its first two pool-round matches to Utah (15-9) and Vermont (9-3), but then came back to beat St. Thomas 15-9 and Cal State-San Marcos 13-9 to finish ninth. CSB finishes the season with a 14-3 overall record.
