Class of 2025, welcome to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.

You navigated a first week that included rain on move-in day and a storm that produced a tornado warning and knocked out power on both campuses for a couple of hours. Orientation activities included the annual President’s Dinner at both campuses, campus tours and meeting new friends.

Now that you’ve gotten through that, here’s some fun facts about the Class of 2025 (note that these are preliminary figures):

At CSB, the incoming class hails from 18 states and five countries. The average grade-point average of the class is 3.70.

At SJU, the incoming class hails from 20 states and five countries. The average grade-point average of the class is 3.51.

Finally, some overall statistics for both schools.

There are 184 first-generation students in the incoming class, and 100 United States’ students of color. There are 299 legacy students, and the two schools enrolled over two dozen valedictorians and the same number of salutatorians.
