The College of Saint Benedict Bookstore is hosting another “Book Lovers’ Night” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 19 in Mary Commons, CSB. Robert Alexander, author of The Romanov Bride, is the featured guest.

In The Romanov Bride, as in his nationally best-selling The Kitchen Boy and Rasputin’s Daughter, Alexander melds historical fact with fictional speculation. Combining stunning writing with a keen talent for storytelling, Alexander uncovers more compelling Romanov drama and intrigue for his many readers and all fans of historical fiction.

For nearly 30 years, Alexander has been traveling to Russia, where he has attended Leningrad State University and worked for the U.S. Government. Born and raised in Chicago, Alexander now lives in Minneapolis.

A light meal consisting of hamburgers and veggie burgers on the grill will be available for $6 from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in Mary Commons. Alexander will speak at 7 p.m.

Bookstore browsing and a book signing will take place in the CSB Bookstore after the reading. Throughout the evening, all general books will be 20 percent off.  All are welcome to join us for a fun evening!
