3-D printing workshop for educators set for July 25

A 3-D printing workshop for K-12 educators will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the President’s Dining Room at the Gorecki Center, College of Saint Benedict.

The workshop is free, but space is limited. Participants are asked to register online.

The workshop will be conducted by education students from CSB and Saint John’s University, utilizing their expertise in immersing contents and 3-D printing in the classroom.

Educators will learn about technology integration to prepare their students for the rapidly growing field of 3-D printing.

Topics will include software, design, printing and curriculum to meet Minnesota academic standards.

A break for lunch will be provided. Participants may either pack a lunch or eat at an area restaurant.
