Whether you are counting down the days to the general election Nov. 8 with excitement or apprehension, you might have some questions.

Like, where do I vote? Do I need to bring identification to the polling place? Who is on the ballot? Can I get an absentee ballot to vote in my hometown?

Answers to those questions - and more - can be found at the Minnesota Secretary of State's website.

The website can answer those election questions for voters at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University — some of whom may be voting for the first time.

After all, your vote does count.

"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves, and the only way they could do this is by not voting," said former President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
