Biography
Sarah Bylsma is an accomplished music instructor and performer located in Saint Paul, MN. She holds a Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance from Michigan State University. She is a sought-after freelance performer, having gigged around the Twin Cities since her arrival in 2020. Sarah is a proud member of Lady Band Wind Ensemble, a chamber group of women identifying artists.
She currently serves as the Flute Choir Director and Flute Instructor at Hopewell Music Cooperative North and teaches privately from her home in Saint Paul. She is active with the Upper Midwest Flute Association, serving as President of the Executive Board.
While Sarah is not playing music, she likes to spend time with her husband Tyler, daughter Catherine and retired rescue greyhound, affectionately named Bozo.
