Classroom & Lab Support

Fulfilling the many technology needs for College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University classrooms and computer labs, Instructional Technology provides equipment installation, maintenance, support and training. We provide rapid response to equipment problems in the classroom, so if you experience any technology issues in any of our classrooms and labs, please let us know right away by contacting the  IT Help Desk.

HYBRID CLASSROOMS

CSB and SJU utilizes a Hybrid Learning model to meet virtual education and communication needs of our institutions. Often referred to as "Hyflex," Hybrid Learning relies on a camera and microphone(s) in the classroom, and Zoom (or other conferencing software) to allow students in the classroom and students who are remote to participate in class together. Instructional Technology is intregal in the installation, maintenance and training of these technologies. For more information, please see our Hybrid Learning page. 

CLASSROOM DESIGN & STANDARDS

Instructional Technology's Classroom & A/V Support division is heavily involved in all technology designs on both of our campuses. This is very important to make sure our technology is consistent in all spaces so all faculty can use our classroom spaces without interruption. To help with the consistency of our classroom technology, I.T. Services has developed classroom standards which are being implemented when rooms are upgraded.
