The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University will formally welcome Brian Bruess as their first joint president at his inauguration on Friday, September 22, 2023.

Inauguration Mass

The day’s events will begin with Eucharist at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Chapel at the College of Saint Benedict. 

Inauguration Ceremony

The installation ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. in the Saint John’s Abbey and University Church. All students, guests, family weekend visitors, alumnae/i, faculty and staff are welcome to this joyous event, a time to celebrate Strong Integration and the beautiful missions of our two institutions.  

The ceremony will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.
