| We Happy Few tells the story of a determined group of women who form a traveling theater company in England during World War II. Against the backdrop of blackouts, rationing, and the uncertainty of war, they bring the power of live performance to communities in need of hope. Full of humor, resilience, and heart, this play celebrates the courage to create and connect in the most challenging times. PROMUSICA MINNESOTA

| Presented by the Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud with the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University Sunday, November 23 – 4:00 p.m. St. John’s University – Stephen B. Humphrey Theater 2850 Abbey Plaza, Collegeville Pianist Bethel Balge, Artistic Director of ProMusica Minnesota, returns alongside Minnesota Orchestra musicians Susie Park, Sarah Grimes, Marlea Simpson, and Tony Ross for a program including Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2, a sparkling blend of lyricism and jazz, Boulanger’s Three Pieces for Cello and Piano, filled with beauty and depth, and Brahms’ powerful Piano Quintet in F minor, a tour de force of Romantic expression. Concert sponsor: St. Cloud Camera and Photo Concert co-sponsors: Mary Lou and Jerry Lenz This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central Minnesota Arts Board thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. CSB + SJU Music Department presents Christmas with Saint Ben’s & Saint John’s
December 5th & 6th, 2025
Great Hall, Saint John’s University
| The time-honored tradition of Christmas with Saint Ben’s & Saint John’s performances will be held on the Saint John’s University campus on December 5 and 6 and at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis on December 6. Beloved annual pieces to be performed include “The Glory of the Father” (Egil Hovland) and “Personent Hodie” (arr. Lara Hoggard)! CSB+SJU choir alumni/ae are invited to join the student musicians in the singing of these pieces (Basilica performance only). Other exciting repertoire includes music by G.P. da Palestrina, J.S. Bach, Stanford Scriven, Eleanor Daley, Lucy Walker, Camille Saint-Saëns, Rosephanye Powell, Juan García de Zéspedes, and more! The annual concert celebrates the seasons of Advent and Christmas through traditional and contemporary music. Woodwind Summit

| Presented by the Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud with the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University Enjoy a program of duos, trios, and quartets for woodwinds including the virtuosic, yet bubbly Jean Françaix quartet, the iconic duo for flute and bassoon by Heitor Villa-Lobos, the Divertimento trio by English composer, Malcolm Arnold, and the lyrical and romantic quartet by 19th-century composer, Karl Geopfart. Immanuel Davis, flute, Christine Soojin Kim, oboe, Sangyoon Kim, clarinet, and Fei Xie, bassoon, come together for a memorable afternoon of chamber music.
