The renowned men's chorus, Chanticleer, was scheduled to perform as part of the Fine Arts Series last April but COVID-19 forced us to cancel that concert. We're delighted to announce a streamed performance featuring their new program - Love, Always.
Love, always and forever. It’s the inexhaustible inspiration for music which explores, explains, soothes, exalts, and excites. Composers beloved by Chanticleer and their audiences have plenty to say about love, whether it is sacred, romantic, platonic and other. These songs will remind us that love has always and ever offered the same dilemmas and delights. This program features an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary selections. From Joseph H Jennings Wondrous Love to Stevie Wonder's I Believe, this concert is Chanticleer's love letter to their music and to the audiences they miss so dearly, and is your chance to cross the social distance separating us and share an evening of exceptional choral music.
