Our Mission

The Fine Arts Series awakens a spirit of curiosity, ignites dialogue and illuminates new understanding through distinctive arts experiences on our stages, in our galleries, and in our communities.

Through the Fine Arts Series, we are committed to:

• Providing meaningful direct connections with artists for our community members and students through performances, exhibitions, workshops, receptions, discussions and collaborations with local organizations.
• Presenting unforgettable, world-class experiences on par with urban centers right here in Central MN.
• A community invested vision that is inclusive and representative of the world on our stages.
• Supporting and enhancing the academic experience for all CSB/SJU students.
• Responsible fiscal management of resources revenue generation through grants, sponsorships, and ticket sales.

  Through the continued support of the Boards of Trustees at both CSB and SJU,  the Fine Arts Series has continued to grow and expand, reaching new audiences each season, while securing regional and national attention for both institutions through the arts.
