A person stands at the front of a classroom giving a presentation. A large screen behind them displays a map. Two people in the foreground look toward the presenter, one using a laptop. The room has wooden accents and a sconce on the wall.

Why Study Entreprenurship at CSB & SJU?

There’s a special strength in studying entrepreneurship in a liberal arts environment. Students in our classrooms will approach problems as artists, sociologists, historians, economists, environmentalists, physicists … not just “businesspeople.” Our students will certainly explore return on investment, market share and profit maximization, but only after embracing lateral thinking, opportunity recognition and idea generation.

Program Overview

The entrepreneurship minor at Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s aligns with our institutional learning goals and lets students of any major blend their interests, academics and education with a healthy spark of entrepreneurial spirit. The minor is structured to offer two tracks – one standard path and one specifically for students accepted and enrolled into our selective E-Scholars program.
