“The part about the education program at CSB/SJU that I enjoyed the most was their overall commitment to teaching future educators the importance of diversity in the classroom. My professors in this program made it clear that teaching us how to connect with students from differing cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds was their top priority. We had a variety of opportunities in our classes to expand our knowledge on this topic. My classmates and I absorbed this material through in-class simulations, guest speakers, small group discussions, and more. I felt like my classes in this program set me up to be successful in any teaching environment I stepped into.”
