D’Havian recently graduated last spring, May 2021, from CSB! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Anthropology and a Psychology minor. While at CSB, she served for three consecutive years in Residential Life as an RA/CA and also did research about Inclusion in Higher Education as well as worked with a variety of nonprofits through Fellowships through CSB. She enjoys working with young adults and helping them to grow and develop into their best selves. D’Havian is a first-generation, international student and loves engaging with students and helping them to find their voice and carve their own paths. In her free time, she enjoys watching musicals, painting, playing the guitar, watching movies, chatting with friends, making fancy dishes and spending time with family and friends.

Tess graduated from Augustana University in the Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies. She worked as an Resident Assistant (RA) at Augustana for three years and is extremely passionate about helping residents grow throughout their college experience. While she didn't graduate from CSB, she comes from a long line of Bennies and Johnnies, and is very excited to be part of such a wonderful community! In her free time, Tess enjoys playing the oboe, listening to film scores, getting excited about superhero movies, and playing video games with her sisters.

Mary Olson joins the Residential Life team with over ten years of programing experience spanning the educational fields of Residential Life and 4-H youth development. Prior to working for College of Saint Benedict, Mary worked with the 4-H Youth Development program at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and served Residential Life departments for St. John’s Catholic Newman center in Champaign, Illinois; Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia; and St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.  Mary graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV & Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. She has her certification in Student Affairs Administration from Georgia College Personnel Association. Mary is a spouse and mother of two boys and is thrilled to have her family a part of the campus community.  As a theologian and spiritual wellness advocate, Mary enjoys spending her free time exploring the cross sections of psychology and religion while learning more about contemplation, mindfulness, and the religious practices of many diverse faith or non-faith traditions. 

Attina Notch, Director of Residential Life:

Attina was born and raised a farmhouse near Blooming Prairie, Minnesota; a town only 20 minutes away from the birthplace of SPAM. If that was not exciting enough, she also spent summers in Panama with family eating sancocho. In her years as a higher education professional, Attina has served as a Tutoring & Accessibility Services Coordinator, Otto Bremer Grant Scholarship Coordinator, Director of Grants & Alumni Relations, and even a Hall Director. With this diverse set of experiences, Attina plans to serve as an exceptional steward of resources and enhance the housing experience for all residents! Attina received her master’s degree in Higher Education & Administration from St. Cloud State University and her bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
