When I began my college search in high school I had a boyfriend who was attending Saint Cloud State University. I did not want to be one of those girls that followed their boyfriend so at first I did not even consider Saint Ben's as an option. As my search continued I realized as dumb as it would be to follow my boyfriend that it would be equally as dumb to not even give the school a chance. So I visited Saint Ben's and really enjoyed the sense of community on campus. Many students were wearing CSB/SJU apparel so I knew students were proud to be Bennies and Johnnies. Students were also very friendly and it seemed like a place where I would really fit in. By getting scholarships, I realized that I would be able to attend Saint Ben's.

I have really enjoyed my time here so far and being a December 2015 graduate I don't have much time left. I've really grown more aware of political, social, societal, issues and feel much more educated on facts of the world/society. I've also learned a lot through my course work about many different subjects. My favorite part of my Saint Ben's experience has been the group of friends that I made sophomore year. Having a group I can always hang out with really has made my college experience so fun and I plan to stay in touch with many of those friends as time goes on. Looking back on my time at Saint Ben's I'm very glad that I chose to come here.
