Growing up so close to Saint Ben's, I had always been hesitant to consider attending college here. I was set on going farther away from home. However, I chose to do a campus visit, and my hesitations became nonexistent. I could feel how great of a place Saint Ben's was from the moment I stepped on campus and was greeted by so many smiling faces.
Since being at Saint Ben’s, I have learned a lot about myself. I am pursuing a major in Nursing and could not be happier with my choice to attend Saint Ben’s. I have learned so much more than the technical skills that accompany the nursing profession. Saint Ben’s truly focuses on the Benedictine Values and the holistic care that goes into becoming a successful nurse.
At first, I was nervous about the cost of attending Saint Ben's, but through the generous donations by alumnae and others, I was able to receive a scholarship that made it financially possible to attend this school. I love how Saint Ben's and Saint John's have such a strong community feel and I cannot imagine spending my college years anywhere else!
