Alcohol Education Workshop

The Alcohol Education Workshop (AEW) is 4-hour class that takes place over two (2-hour) class periods.  Along with discussion of students' alcohol use and drinking patterns, students learn about how their alcohol use compares with that of their cohorts at CSB/SJU.  Students are also presented with information about alcohol's effect on the body and brain.  The workshop ultimately addresses methods of moderating alcohol use and setting drinking limits that best fit individual safety needs.

Some students take the AEW to fulfill a sanction of a policy violation. However, any student may voluntarily participate in the workshop if they are interested in knowing more about alcohol.

The AEW is a free workshop offered to enrolled CSB/SJU students.  Multiple workshops are offered each semester and scheduled on Monday evenings from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Note: doors close promptly at 4:00 p.m.
