Programs for Alums

Center Mentors Program:

Fifteen alums and friends of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University (CSB/SJU) will each visit campus for 4 half-day sessions scheduled throughout the school year.  Students sign up for 30-60 minute visits with the Center Mentors to gather information that will further their work on their entrepreneurial venture or for their own career planning. In addition, student clubs operating fundraising ventures and students that run their own businesses or nonprofits will be encouraged to use these mentors.  Center Mentors will also be available for classroom presentations.  Center staff will provide orientation and support to the Center Mentors and assist the students in finding the right mentor for their questions.

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Speaker Series:

This lunchtime speaker series will feature unsung successful entrepreneurs who are alums or friends of CSB/SJU.  Co-sponsored by the Private Investment Fund Committee of Saint John’s University, this event occurs five times a year at the Minneapolis Club and will be followed by on-campus presentations when possible.

Matchmaking:

Connecting alums to one another to share expertise, business or nonprofit interests is part of the service of the center.  Contact staff to tell us about what you need or want to share with others.
