BEN Talks

In this BEN Talks video series, monastic speakers describe the wisdom of Saint Benedict and the values that guide us how to be in community with one another in a way that fosters the common good and nurtures each member of the community in becoming their best selves.  Check out the one-minute BEN Talks promotional video below to better understand this series and how these videos can enrich us all.

If you are unfamiliar with the Benedictine values and  The Rule of Benedict, we encourage you to begin by watching the first Ben Talk presented by Fr. Columba Stewart, OSB, titled,  Saint Benedict and his Rule: Wisdom Throughout the Ages.  This video shares foundational information about Saint Benedict,  The Rule of Benedict, and what the  Rule might mean for us today.  After watching this gateway video, there is no particular order to the others; you may watch as many of them as you wish and in any order.

If you already have some understanding of the Benedictine tradition, we invite you to watch these BEN Talks to help deepen your understanding of the Benedictine values that are derived from  The Rule of Benedict.  There is no particular order to these videos; you may watch as many of them as you wish and in any order.

As you watch each BEN Talk, take time to reflect on how these Benedictine values can affect  your own lives and work.  Together, we can put this wisdom into practice and create a community where all can flourish.
