Captain Trevor Lane Plummer was born in Boise, Idaho in 1977. He attended Hobe Sound Bible College in southern Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2002. After teaching for three years at a private Military Academy, he was commissioned through Officer Candidate School as a Second Lieutenant of Military Intelligence in 2006.

CPT Plummer’s first assignment was in Fort Benning, Georgia assigned to HHC 3rd BDE of the 3rd Infantry Division. He deployed to Iraq for 15 months with the 3rd Infantry Division in 2007. Upon deployment CPT Plummer was assigned to a Military Transition Team responsible for advising and training the Iraqi Army.

In 2008, while remaining with the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, CPT Plummer was assigned to the Military Intelligence Company as the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Platoon Leader.  In 2009, he was reassigned within the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division to the 1st Battalion of the 15th Infantry Regiment as the assistant intelligence officer. In 2009 he returned to Iraq.

After completing the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course in 2011, CPT Plummer was assigned to the 4th Brigade, 1st Infantry Division in Fort Riley, Kansas. He deployed to Afghanistan as the 1st Squadron 4th Cavalry Regiment intelligence officer in 2012. Upon completion of the deployment, he worked as the assistant S2 for the 4th Brigade, 1st Infantry Division during 2013 and 2014.

Most recently, CPT Plummer was assigned as the 157 Combined Arms Training Brigade, First Army, as the S2. He acted as an Observer/Coach/Trainer (OC/T) of multiple National Guard Brigade Intelligence Sections across the Midwest.

CPT Plummer is a graduate of the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course and Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course. His awards include the Bronze Star (3 OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Overseas Ribbon. He wears the Combat Action Badge and the Gold German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.

CPT Plummer is married to the former Bethany Holden of Hobe Sound, Florida. Their daughters, Abbygail and Emma, are five years old and two years old, respectively.
