Meet Bridget Saladin
"I feel like I am truly part of the community here at Saint Ben's and Saint John's, even as a transfer student. It was so easy to go through the transfer process and everyone here (staff, professors, monks, sisters and students) all truly and deeply care about you and your endeavors!"
Why did you decide to transfer to CSB/SJU?
I decided to transfer to CSB/SJU because of the atmosphere that surrounds our two campuses. It feels like home and that is extremely important to me because I am from Illinois. I feel like I am truly part of the community here, even as a transfer student. It was so easy to go through the transfer process and everyone (staff, professors, monks, sisters and students) all care deeply about you and your endeavors. That is awesome!
What are some of the activities in which you have participated?
I went on a mission trip to Trinidad and Tobago through the Men's Center. It was the most amazing thing I have ever done, and I think about the girls that I helped everyday. There are a ton of clubs and organizations to get involved in here! And, if they don't have a club that you are looking for you have the option of making your own! Because of our 3,300 acres of woods and lakes it is also really cool to explore outside here but make sure you bring your sense of adventure! I also participate in our Alpha Kappa Sigma sorority and on the CSB Phonathon team
What inspires you about CSB/SJU?
I love that we have two campuses because that gives us so many different options. I also love the connection we have with our alum's and how they are so unbelievably willing to help students out whenever they can.
