Jin Lee is an assistant professor of accounting. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at Kent State University, where he is developing a comprehensive framework for researching data breaches in accounting and applying this framework to empirical analyses. He earned his Bachelor of Economics from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. After graduating, he worked as an assistant analyst for a local investment advisory company for approximately two years. He also received his Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University, San Bernardino.

 Jin is passionate about teaching accounting information systems and financial accounting courses. His research interests encompass topics related to information systems in accounting and cybersecurity issues.

 Outside the classroom, Jin likes to watch movies and dramas. Some of his favorite actors are Mads Mikkelsen and Viggo Mortensen.
