Accounting

Jaclyn Gabrielson

Jaclyn Gabrielson is a visiting assistant professor of accounting. Jaclyn is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she earned a BSB in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in Spanish. She also received her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Minnesota and is a CPA.

Jaclyn began her career as an auditor in the Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) for the State of Minnesota. While there, she conducted audits of various state and federally funded departments and programs. During that same time, Jaclyn was an adjunct faculty member at Normandale Community College where she taught financial accounting.

Wanting to return full-time to academia, Jaclyn moved to Boston where she joined the Harvard Business School. While at HBS, Jaclyn wrote and developed courses for their cutting edge online education platform—HBX. She worked on courses in areas of Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Leadership.

Ready to move back to Minnesota, Jaclyn was ecstatic for the opportunity to join the faculty at CSB/SJU in 2018. So far, Jaclyn has taught Principles I and Intermediate II accounting courses.

In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and baking.
