Minor in Chinese (20 credits)

Minors can choose 20 credits (five courses) from the following offerings: CHIN 211 (4) or 215 (4) abroad; CHIN 212 (4) or 216 (4) abroad; 311 (4) or 315 (4) abroad; 312 (4) or 316 (4) abroad; 321A (4); 321B (4); 330 (4); and/or one course from the Asian Studies Program course list with a focus on China (4). You can complete the Chinese Minor in ways that cater to your Chinese language proficiency, academic interests and schedule. You can take CHIN 211, CHIN 212, CHIN 311, CHIN 312 out of sequence.

 The Chinese Language and Culture Program encourages immersive learning experiences in China. If you participate in the CSB/SJU study abroad program in Beibei, China, some of your credits can count toward your Chinese Minor.
