The Youth and Family Concentration provides a strong theological foundation and advances student’s practical pedagogical skills to effectively bring the Good News to all people and to nurture, form, and deepen the Christian faith in a secular context.

Graduates with this concentration will be able to effectively lead in evangelization ministries, youth ministry, campus ministry, religious education, family ministries, or Catholic high school theology teachers.

Students are required to take HCHR 402 and HCHR 404. They may select 1 course (3 credits) each in Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, Moral Theology, and Liturgy, and Field Education.
