Retired, Fallon Worldwide - Fred graduated from Saint John's in 1964 with a BA in Art and a minor in English.  He then served three years in the army in Europe, where he met his wife, Heidi. Fred began his advertising career by managing advertising for First Bank System from 1972 to 1976.  Pat Fallon recruited Fred to the agency side at Martin/Williams Advertising and then asked him to be one of the founding partners of Fallon.  He has since directed the advertising campaigns for a number of clients, including US West, The Wall Street Journal, Porsche Cars North America, Ameritech, BMW, and the Children's Defense Fund.  Fred's role at the agency was more involved with talent development as Fallon expanded both its scope of services and its geographic reach.  In this capacity, he was the "Chief Learning Officer" and ran Fallon University, and guest lectures at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and co-authored a book on business creativity published by Harvard Business School Press.
