Scholarships

National Catholic Youth Choir (NCYC) wants to encourage all high school Catholic choristers to experience this life-changing camp opportunity, no matter their financial situation. So, we are very excited to offer scholarships!

MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP

NCYC offers two merit-based scholarships to two first-time choristers. Merit-based scholarships are performance-based and we ask for additional voice recordings to determine recipients.  Each merit-based scholarship is $500 and will be given to one female and one male chorister.

To apply for this merit-based scholarship, please submit a recording of you singing a classical piece of music; suggested length of 2-4 minutes. It does not have to be a sacred piece. It may be accompanied or unaccompanied. If you are accepted to receive this special scholarship, you will be expected to either sing a solo or to cantor during camp.

NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIP

NCYC offers need-based scholarships for those looking for financial assistance to attend camp. Please contact Mandy Wolvert at [email protected] to receive the full application for need-based scholarships.

Please do not send money for the camp fee! First, submit the application, references and auditions. Once your chorister is accepted, and scholarships determined, THEN, you will be asked to submit whatever payment/remaining payment is needed to attend NCYC summer camp.
