Special Speaker - John Thavis

John ThavisJohn Thavis, author of "The Vatican Diaries," grew up in Minnesota and is a 1973 graduate of Saint John's University. Thavis is the past prizewinning chief of the Rome bureau of Catholic News Service, former president of the International Association of Journalists Accredited to the Vatican, and award winner of the Saint Francis de Sales Award, the highest honor given  by the Catholic Press Association.
