Ministerial Residency Positions
All full time or part time students are eligible to participate in the ministerial residency program. These opportunities allow students to gain ministry experience while taking courses, and a space to learn and grow through the formation program. Ministerial Residency placements can also be field education placements to meet degree requirements, and are paid (hourly wage) positions, which can help relieve the economic challenges for students.
Positions Offered:
The Ministerial Resident (MR) in Thriving Congregations Initiative provides an opportunity for students to learn while ministering to and with the people and parishes in the Diocese of Saint Cloud through the diocesan offices.

This Ministerial Resident works in collaboration with the Director of Campus Ministry in the planning and preparation of retreat experiences for CSB/SJU students with a focus on involving men.

Celebration Lutheran Church in Sartell is seeking a Ministerial Resident to assist the Director of Worship and Music. There are three choirs, which can also be split into three positions.

Graduate Assistantships
Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary offers several graduate assistantships to full time, degree-seeking students. Graduate Assistantships include a tuition scholarship, a work award, and sometimes a living stipend. A more detailed description of each position can be found in the right side bar of most pages.
Positions Offered:
The graduate assistant for the ECFFM program will help coordinate ECFFM programs for faculty, staff and students, assist in the research and design of a toolbox for pastoral ministers in the areas of management and stewardship and help to support other ECFFM programs, such as the Ministerial Residency Program.
