Pope Francis was present as Saint John’s gifted the Library of Congress with an Apostles Edition of The Saint John’s Bible in his honor on Sept. 24. It will be on public exhibition at the Library of Congress beginning Sept. 26.

2. ESPN’s “Sportscenter on the Road” coming to SJU
ESPN’s “Sportscenter on the Road” will visit Saint John’s University’s Clemens Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 26, for a live show airing from 6-8 a.m. CDT, in advance of the Johnnies’ 1 p.m. game against St. Thomas.

3. SJU Enrolls 451 First-Year Students
Saint John’s enrolled 451 first-year students this fall for a combined undergraduate enrollment of 1,716. Combined with the College of Saint Benedict, the institutions now enroll 3,640 undergraduate students from 37 states and 27 countries.

4. Senn ’64 to Receive Reger Award
Fred Senn will receive the Fr. Walter Reger Distinguished Alumnus Award at the Homecoming Banquet Oct. 16. The Reger Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association.
