• Large majority of total respondents expect to learnmore about sustainability while at CSB/SJU
•Over 69% of student respondents know little or nothing about the Office of Sustainability
•More than half the total respondents would be willing to pay a sustainability fee
•Majority of respondents find it important that CSB/SJU become a leader in sustainability and the environment
With Support from the Literary Arts Institute, CSB/SJU Libraries, a grant from Target, and the faculty of the Environmental Studies Department, a reading group was put together. About 80 people have joined the groups. The first half of the "Nature of College" by Jim Farrell was covered in the first meeting and Professor Farrell will be joining us for the second half on Nov 18th.

Football Recycling:In a continuation of last year's Pilot program, the Football games will have recycling available. Cold weather decreased the amount of waste and recycling generated from the game against Gustavus. It took four volunteers only about half an hour to clean up the entire stadium. We hope to continue this initiative for winter sports at SJU.
