Keep in touch with Career Services

The Career Services Office would like to officially greet all of the new first-year student parents to our portion of the parent e-newsletter. Our office offers several opportunities for you to stay in touch with the services available to your students. The Career Services website www.csbsju.edu/career will connect you with the programs our offices offer throughout the year. Career Buzz, our monthly newsletter to students, can be accessed from the Career Services homepage; the Buzz lists upcoming events and programs of interest to all students.

During October our on-campus interviewing program will be in full swing with employers visiting campus to interview seniors and juniors seeking post-graduate employment and internship opportunities.  October also features several career fairs including the Nursing Career Fair and the Volunteer After Graduation Fair, both held at CSB/SJU. The Graduate School Fair and the Government/Non-Profit Career and Internship Fair will be at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

October is also the month we will be putting the finishing touches on the annual CAREER EXPO. EXPO, Nov. 7, features several career seminars, a career information fair, and a networking reception. Approximately 125 CSB and SJU alumni will be featured; these alums look forward to meeting students of all classes, majors and career interests. They enjoy discussing major and career possibilities, jobs and internships, graduate school, and other topics that will help students be successful.

Encourage your student to participate in Career Services' events and to use the services available to help them achieve their goals.
