CAMPUS ALERT: Due to the weather, all evening classes at CSB and SJU are canceled. The LINK bus will run on its regular schedule until 5 p.m. and then every hour on the hour for the remainder of the evening, weather permitting. CSB/SJU launch mobile website

CSB and SJU have launched a mobile website. The site includes content such as the bus schedule, news, calendar, campus maps and the directory.  This site can be accessed via any mobile device, including iPhones, Androids, Blackberries and iPods.  Simply use the regular URL for our website (www.csbsju.edu) and you will automatically be taken to the mobile version. 

Spring concert features St Martin-in-the-Fields from London

The choir from St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, London, will join three CSB and SJU choral ensembles and the Amadeus Chamber Symphony, in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, in Saint John's Abbey and University Church. St Martin-in-the-Fields is the royal parish church, and the day of the concert is also the day of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in London. St Martin-in-the-Fields' appearance at SJU is the opening stop on their first-ever U.S. tour. The concert is co-sponsored by the CSB/SJU Department of Music and the Institute for Sacred Music at Saint John's. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students, CSB and SJU employees and seniors.

Career Services announces new resources for students

Career Services has launched CareerBuzz, an e-newsletter sent to students twice a month. CareerBuzz promotes upcoming events, highlights career-related news, provides alum and intern profiles, and links students to important resources on our website. The e-newsletter articles cover such topics as how study abroad can affect a job search, choosing a major, writing personal statements and volunteering.

CSB sets check-out times for residence halls

All students who live on campus at CSB need to check out and leave campus within 24 hours of their last final. Residence halls close at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 13.

All SJU resident students need to check out and leave campus within 24 hours of their last final exam.  Residence halls close at 8 p.m. Friday, May 13.

Book Buy Back announced

Book Buy Back is 8:30 - 4:30 May 10-13.  Students will receive up to half of the purchase price of a textbook, if the professor has ordered the text for the next semester and if the bookstore does not already have a sufficient number of books. Students can win more than 100 prizes at each campus location, including gift cards, beverages and candy.

There's still time to order a care package for your student 

Send a message of care to your student during final exam week with an assortment of snacks, and practical, fun, and inspirational gifts. The Final Exam Care Package Program sponsored by CSB Campus Ministry provides care packages that are unique to CSB/SJU and proceeds fund important student ministry programs and service opportunities across the United States and in underdeveloped countries. Boxes can be ordered online through April 14.  Students can pick up their boxes 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. May 3-11, at Murray Hall (excluding the weekend).
