"Gandhi in the 21st Century. " Dr. Rajmohan Gandhi.

Dr. Rajmohan Gandhi is Research Professor at the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, where he is also Academic Director of Global Crossroads, a campus learning and living community. Among the many books he authored are A Tale of Two Revolts: India 1857 and the American Civil War; Ghaffar Khan: Nonviolent Badshah of the Pakhtuns; and his highly acclaimed biography of his grandfather, Gandhi: The Man, his People, and the Empire. In 2009 he was elected to a two-year term as president of Initiatives of Change International, an NGO working for trust and reconciliation. He was member of the upper house of the Indian Parliament, and in 1990 led the Indian delegation to the UN Human Rights Commission.
