"More than 'Mistakes Were Made': An Innocent Man's Journey from Death Row to Freedom"

Randy Steidl will share his harrowing experience of being sent to death row for a crime he did not commit, highlighting the injustices and corruption in the U.S. criminal justice system that have sent at least 137 innocent men and women to death row, who have since been legally exonerated. He will also speak about his exoneration after almost 18 years of wrongful imprisonment, and his quest to educate the public on why the death penalty is the ultimate human rights abuse and should be abolished.
