Natural History Museum: NSC 150, SJU

Join retired CSB/SJU biology professor Jim Poff in this hands-on course.  This course is a basic introduction to drawing and watercolor techniques that are useful in recording observations in a nature journal.  One of the goals of this class is to make you a better observer of the natural world.

Observation is a talent that involves many skills and like most skills, observational skills can be improved with practice. The intent of this course is to introduce you to some new tools and to provide you with guidance and the opportunity to get the practice that will make you a better observer of nature.

All skill levels are welcome!
