Experiential Learning and Activities
Students on this program have many opportunities to get involved on and off campus. University sports, choir, band and orchestra, and a variety of other student clubs and organizations are open to you! In addition, we encourage you to participate in the "Tandem-Program", a language exchange where you can improve your German with a language partner who wants to practice his or her English.
Participants on the Germany program live in furnished student apartments with other international students. The apartments are within walking distance of the University. You will have access to shared kitchen facilities in your apartment to prepare your own meals, or you can join your peers in the student mensa (cafeteria) on campus. You will receive a weekly stipend to cover most of your food expenses. At the University you will also have access to libraries, a fitness center, and wireless internet.
