Maya Hermerding

Maya Hermerding has incorporated her political science and Hispanic studies majors into her many activities at CSB. She traveled to teach English to children in impoverished areas in Valpariso, Chile; interned at Brainerd (Minnesota) City Hall in the City Planning Department; and volunteered at the Eugene J. McCarthy Center for Public Policy and Civic Engagement. Hermerding has served as a legal intern at the Crow Wing County (Minnesota) Attorney’s Office. She was also a Model United Nations Secretary, and volunteered for Community Kitchen.
