Here is a list of the 17 men serving at nine sites in the Benedictine Volunteer Corps for 2013-14:

Chicago - Benjamin Carey (theology major, Ankeny, Iowa);

Guatemala and Spain - Stephen Gross (sociology major, New Prague, Minn.); Colin Merrigan (accounting and management major, Minneapolis);

Hanga, Tanzania - Ethan Evenson (biology major, Mounds View, Minn.); Addison Tackmann (social science major, Rochester, Minn.);

Kappadu, India - Martin Hermann (history major, New Prague, Minn.); Ethan Howard (philosophy major, Superior, Wis.);

Nairobi, Kenya - Matthew Dummer (biology major, Vancouver, Wash.); Anthony Origer (communication major, Willow, Alaska);

Newark, N.J. - Nicholas Crowley (English and theater majors, Becker, Minn.); Ryan Wold (philosophy and political science majors, Brooklyn Park, Minn.);

Rome - Jacob Harris (English major, St. Cloud, Minn.); Patrick Moe (art major, Alexandria, Minn.);

Tabgha, Israel - Derek Rausch (theology major, White Bear Lake, Minn.); Roberto Borgert (St. Cloud, Minn.); Note: Borgert attended Saint John's Preparatory School and is a graduate of The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.  All others graduated from Saint John's University.
