Explore the path of St. Benedict through Italy and Germany this fall
May 18, 2018
Join us this fall as the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University explore the path of St. Benedict through Italy and Germany. The Benedictine Heritage Tour — from Sept. 27 through Oct. 7 — will be a small-group experience focusing on the key places and people that have shaped 1600 years of Benedictine traditions. We will be joined by CSB President Mary Dana Hinton, SJU President Michael Hemesath and Fr. Eric Hollas, OSB of Saint John’s Abbey who will provide historical, artistic and spiritual enrichment throughout the tour.
We will spend time in Rome, Monte Cassino, Munich, Eichstatt and Metten. Though most of our accommodations will be in hotels, we will also have the unique opportunity to spend the night at the St. Scholastica Monastery in Subiaco.
This is an once-in-a-lifetime tour that will provide an exciting and meaningful immersion into our Benedictine heritage. To review the full itinerary and reserve your spot, please visit the Benedictine Heritage Tour page with our partner Anthony Travel.
