Prologue of the Rule of St. Benedict
Subiaco is a Benedictine retreat created for the students of the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University that offers time to get away and encounter God, themselves, and others. Subiaco is the name of a cave that St. Benedict lived in for three years. Just as St. Benedict retreated away to think, pray and reflect, we invite you to do the same.
Subiaco is held at Koinonia Retreat Center in South Haven, MN. Leading the retreat are a team of eight students, supported by four professional staff members from Companions on a Journey, CSB & SJU Campus Ministries and the Vocation Project. The retreat consists of
